High School basketball into the weekend:
Vail Mountain knocked off cross-town rival, Vail Christian, on Saturday. Vail Mountain will host Lyons on Friday (3/4/22).
Vail Christian is still in it - Multiple teams qualify automatically for regionals out of each district. So, Vail Christian finishing runner-up still gets them in. They’ll play Rye on Friday (3/4/22)
Lake County (Leadville) is still in it. Lake County plays Friday against Crowley County.
Spring high school sports start practice today (Monday 2/28/22). Girl’s soccer, track, lacrosse.
