The Avon Public Library is hosting a "Saving Money with Meal Planning" taught by a CSU extension agent beginning at 5:30 this evening. 

The Literacy Project will be meeting at the Gypsum Public Library this evening at 5:30.

The Annual Aging Well Expo is being held from 9 a.m. to noon tomorrow moring at the Edwards Field House. This is a chance for older individuals in our community to educate themselves about subjects that become more relevant as a person gets older.

Friday, May 3

Cottonwood Pass is opening tomorrow. Cottonwood Pass is a country road that is not fully paved running between between Gypsum and the Roaring Fork Valley,  This road is not designed for large trucks and has many sharp turns and steep drop offs.

Join your friends at Agave for a Cinco De Mayo celebration featuring music on the deck, food and drink specials and Pedro the Donkey. The fun begins on Sunday at 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

The Eagle Valley Library District is hosting a "Books in Bloom" event at the Westin in Avon. Visit with other book lovers in a relaxed setting. Tickets are available at evld.org.

English Language Development class will be held at the Avon Public Library this evening at 6 o'clock.

Baby Lapsit story time will be hosted by the Gypsum Public Library tomorrow morning from 10 to 10:30 a.m. This program is designed for children ages infant to 2 years of age and a caregiver.

The first whitewater race administered by the Vail Recreation District is being held in Vail Village tomorrow evening at 5 o'clock in Vail Village. Go to vailrec.com to register and for more details.

Teen Night at the Gypsum Public Library will be holding a Pokemon tournament from 4 to 5:30 this evening. This program is for young adults aged 11-18.

The Literacy Project is holding a class at the Eagle Public Library, starting at 6 o'clock. This class is designed to help adults improve their English. All levels are welcome.
